Tilapia with a Creamy Citrus Sauce

This is one from a few weeks ago as tonight I had the pleasure of eating out at a fine Italian restaurant in Southern New Jersey (If you are in the area, I would suggest going to Marlene Mangia Bene). For this meal I initially pan-seared the tilapia then finished by baking in the oven. For the sauce, I used a little bit of oil, some heavy cream, a little bit of romano cheese, chili powder, and then some orange and lemon zest. After the tilapia is done and the sauce is hot just pour on top. The brussel sprouts were quite simple, I initially put them in a pan with some water and covered. Then once tender, used some oil to have more of a “grilled” effect. Lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. The long grain rice I just added a little bit of butter and some mushroom coarsely chopped. Finished the meal off with a glass of a German Traminer-Spatlese.
